Football Recap: Spooner Takes a Loss

Spooner was the 42-9 winner over Hayward/Lac Courte Oreilles when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Rails fell 21-14 to the Hurricanes on Friday. The Rails have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Spooner now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Hayward/Lac Courte Oreilles, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Spooner is set to challenge their familiar foe St. Croix Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Hayward/Lac Courte Oreilles will face off against rival Bloomer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
