Softball Recap: Handley Tigers vs. Anniston Bulldogs
Handley got themselves on the board against Anniston on Monday, but Anniston never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 17-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won four in a row.

Makenzie McCain made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, she posted four strikeouts, the most she's had since back in March. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. She also hit a double, marking her first of the season.
In other batting news, Handley got a massive performance out of Brynnley Lane, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2. What's more, Lane posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in March. Brayden Watkins was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 1-for-2.
Handley now has a winning record of 11-10-1. As for Anniston, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.
