Volleyball Recap: Lakeside Lutheran Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lakeside Lutheran can now relate to. They came up short against the Kettle Moraine Lutheran Chargers on Thursday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Warriors have suffered since September 30th.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-15, 25-17.

Brianna Dahlie paced Lakeside Lutheran's offense, picking up eight kills. Dahlie got some help from Grace Hoppenrath and her 17 assists. Finally, Hannah Vanderhoof and Juliet Boche kept the team grounded on defense, each having blocked two attacks.

Samantha Peterson was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 18 assists and six digs. That's the most assists she has posted over her last seven matches.
