Volleyball Recap: Mikaela Holder and Stella Logan Secure Win for Oakland + How To Watch

While Oakland didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. Everything went their way against the Coffee County Central Red Raiders on Wednesday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Patriots this season.

Oakland not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Coffee County Central between 15 and 17 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-15, 25-17.

Oakland was led to victory by Stella Logan and Mikaela Holder. Logan had 16 digs and one assist, while Holder had four digs and two aces. That's the most digs Logan has posted since back in October of 2024.

Oakland's win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-3. As for Coffee County Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Looking ahead, Oakland will be playing in front of their home fans against Riverdale at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Coffee County Central, they have already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Columbia Central on the 28th.
