Armstrong proved they can win big on Monday (they won by six) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Paxton-Buckley-Loda Panthers 6-5. For the Trojans, this counts as revenge for the 7-5 victory the Panthers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2023.
Becket Moran made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits.
