Medina has gone 8-1 against Highland recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Medina Battling Bees are taking a road trip to face off against the Highland Hornets at 7:30 p.m.

Medina is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Ohio's top teams: Magnificat, who was ranked third at the time (Medina was ranked 19th). Medina took a 56-39 bruising from Magnificat on Friday. The match marked the Battling Bees' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Highland put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Barberton, posting a 54-14 win. The Hornets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 20 points or more this season.

Medina's loss ended a 14-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-2. As for Highland, their victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-0.

Medina strolled past Highland in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 by a score of 61-43. The rematch might be a little tougher for Medina since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
