Volleyball Recap: Elgin Extends Road Winning Streak to Six

Elgin won the last time they faced Temple Christian and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Comets blew past the Pioneers 3-0.

One reason for the win was Elgin's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-16, 25-15.

Elgin found their leader in sophomore Jocelyn Wall, who had ten digs and three aces.

Elgin was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Temple Christian only served seven.

Elgin's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-4. As for Temple Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.

Elgin wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Waynesfield-Goshen on the 25th. As for Temple Christian, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Upper Scioto Valley on the 25th.
