Salisbury waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Meadville Eagles, sneaking past 6-4. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-4 back in April.

Salisbury pushed their record up to 19-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for Meadville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

Salisbury wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 6-4 win against Linn County on the 20th. Meadville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
