Basketball Recap: Harrah Snaps 20-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Harrah came into Friday's contest having lost nine straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They pulled ahead with a 55-54 photo finish over the Guymon Tigers on Friday.

Harrah's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mason McGeehee, who went 5 of 11 on his way to 12 points and eight boards. Those eight rebounds gave McGeehee a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Parker Raines, who posted eight points.

Harrah's victory ended a 20-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-14. As for Guymon, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Harrah wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 52-34 defeat against Perkins-Tryon on the 25th. As for Guymon, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 58-48 loss against Elgin on the 28th.
