Christchurch School is a perfect 3-0 against Collegiate since March of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Seahorses will take on the Cougars at 4:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Christchurch School will face Collegiate after dropping another heartbreaker against Saint Gertrude on Thursday, which marked the second time in a row the team's come within 2.1 of beating them. The Seahorses fell just short of the Gators by a score of 5-4. The loss continues a trend for the Seahorses in their meetings with the Gators: they've now lost three in a row.

Alivia Bruce put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 12 over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

In other batting news, Avery Thomas made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two runs and one double.

Meanwhile, Collegiate was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 25-1 to St. Catherine's.

Christchurch School's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Collegiate, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.

Everything went Christchurch School's way against Collegiate when the teams last played last Thursday, as Christchurch School made off with a 14-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Seahorses since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
