            Basketball Recap: Winslow Bulldogs vs. Ganado Hornets        
        
		
        
        
            It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Winslow can now relate to. They took  a  68-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ganado Hornets on Monday. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings  (they are ranked 137th, while the Hornets are ranked 40th).

 Despite the loss, Winslow still got an impressive performance from   Taylin Puhuhefvaya, who  posted 27  points and three  steals. Those 27 points gave  Puhuhefvaya a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kaitlyn Belone, who  had 12  points.
 It was another big night for  Faith James, who  went 10-for-25  en route to 29 points in addition to eight  assists and five  rebounds for Ganado.  Jasah McIntosh was another key player,  putting up 15  points along with six  assists and five  steals.
Winslow's record now sits at 6-19. As for Ganado, their victory was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 18-10.
 Winslow does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ganado, they will host Valley Christian  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
