Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Evansville Harrison walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Evansville North Huskies on Friday as they made off with a 47-25 win. The Warriors have beaten the Huskies the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Huskies has come to flipping the script.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Evansville Harrison to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brooks Thomas, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jay Summitt, who almost dropped a double-double with 11 points and nine boards.

Evansville Harrison was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Evansville North only five assists.

Kellen English and Lance Smith certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. English posted eight points and four blocks, while Smith earned eight points. English has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last three times he's played.

Evansville Harrison's victory bumped their record up to 16-7. As for Evansville North, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-13.

Evansville Harrison wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 68-61 win against Evansville Reitz on the 8th. Evansville North does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
