It was a Battle of the Birds when Harrisburg faced off against La Pine on Friday. The Eagles blew past the Hawks 18-6. Considering the Eagles have won 13 matches by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Harrisburg has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.6 runs over those games. As for La Pine, they dropped their record down to 4-14 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harrisburg will face off against Glide at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for La Pine, they will welcome Lost River at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
