Volleyball Recap: Hibriten Comes Up Short

Hibriten was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the East Rutherford Cavaliers.

While Hibriten ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 22-25, 25-20, 25-21.

Hibriten's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for East Rutherford, their victory ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-4.

Hibriten has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against East Burke on the 28th. As for East Rutherford, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against West Caldwell on the 28th.
