Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Omaha Westside). Everything went their way against the Buena Vista Bison on Monday as they made off with a 15-6 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Gage Vondra looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (three).

At the plate, Ben Everroad was a standout: he went 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Harry Yeager was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

Omaha Westside's win bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Buena Vista, their loss was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-15.

Omaha Westside didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 4-2 victory against Millard South on the 22nd. As for Buena Vista, they have also already played their next matchup, a 14-0 defeat against Omaha North on the 22nd.
