Baseball Recap: Conemaugh Valley Blue Jays vs. United Lions
Conemaugh Valley lost to United back in April, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Blue Jays walked away with a 5-2 win over the Lions. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Blue Jays.
Lance Masser made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in 13 consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one home run.
