Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Louisville). Everything went their way against the Calabasas Coyotes on Thursday as the Louisville Royals made off with a 15-1 win. The Royals have beaten the Coyotes the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Coyotes has come to flipping the script.

Kelsey Vitalis made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. That's the fewest hits she has allowed since back in March of 2024. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
