Softball Recap: Dresden's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Dresden waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 15-10 victory over the Halls Tigers. This was payback for the Lions, who suffered a 4-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Dresden got a massive performance out of Mollie Oliver, who went 2-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those five RBI gave Oliver a new career-high. Allyssa Wilson was another key player, getting on base in five of her six plate appearances with four runs and two stolen bases.

Dresden was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .395. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .300 or higher in four consecutive matches.

The win got Dresden back to even at 13-13. As for Halls, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-12 record this season.

Dresden will have a chance to go back-to-back against Halls: the pair will be back at it again later today.
