New Iberia won the last time they faced Mamou and things went their way on Tuesday too. The New Iberia Yellowjackets put the hurt on the Mamou Demons with a sharp 10-3 win.
Madison Taylor and Palyn Freeman did most of the damage at the plate: Taylor scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2, while Freeman scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Reese Bouillion was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
New Iberia's record is now 2-0. As for Mamou, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3-1.
