Basketball Recap: Concordia Lutheran Crusaders vs. Houston HomeSchool Raiders
Concordia Lutheran was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 104-75 loss at the hands of the Houston HomeSchool Raiders. While losing is never fun, the Crusaders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1041st, while the Raiders are ranked 204th).

Several Crusaders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Loukas Naum, who went 10 for 16 on his way to 22 points. That's the most points Naum has posted since back in November. Banner Carlson was another key player, going 5 for 11 on his way to 15 points.
Even though they lost, Concordia Lutheran was working as a unit and finished the game with 22 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Concordia Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Houston HomeSchool, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.
