Softball Recap: Harleton Takes a Loss

Harleton came into this matchup off a tough 12-run defeat last Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Elysian Fields Yellowjackets by a score of 6-4 on Tuesday. The Wildcats' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Harleton saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zoey Ring, who went 1-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Harleton's defeat dropped their record down to 7-17. As for Elysian Fields, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-20.

While Harleton had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
