Basketball Recap: Metro Tech Knights vs. Agua Fria Owls

Metro Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Agua Fria Owls and fell 84-44. The Knights lost against the Owls in their previous head to head back in December of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 51-36 score last time.

Metro Tech lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Yahir Monroy, who posted nine points and five rebounds. Anthony Campos was another key player, putting up 12 points.

David Tejada went supernova for Agua Fria, going 10 of 17 on his way to 28 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Micah Mccalla, who went 5 of 8 on his way to 15 points and four steals.
