Baseball Recap: Trinity Presbyterian Takes a Loss

Trinity Presbyterian and Oak Grove squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Trinity Presbyterian had to settle for second. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 10-0. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Wildcats, who until this game were averaging 4.03 runs allowed.

Trinity Presbyterian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brady Bennett, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.

This is the second loss in a row for Trinity Presbyterian and nudges their season record down to 28-10. As for Oak Grove, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 30-3.

As of now, neither Trinity Presbyterian nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
