Baseball Recap: Wallenpaupack Area Takes a Loss

Wallenpaupack Area lost against Scranton Prep back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Buckhorns took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cavaliers. The Buckhorns have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Peyton Toth made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one home run. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season.

Wallenpaupack Area's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Scranton Prep, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-11.

Wallenpaupack Area does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Scranton Prep, they will challenge Riverside at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Vikings will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Cavaliers surely won't give up without a fight.
