Volleyball Recap: Southington Has No Trouble Against Wethersfield + How To Watch

The Southington Blue Knights got the win against the Wethersfield Eagles on Friday by a conclusive 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Blue Knights.

Southington never let Wethersfield on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-16, 26-24.

Paige Raines was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 18 digs and two assists. That's the most assists she has posted over her last six contests.

Southington was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. They are 6-2 when they serve at least ten aces.

The win got Southington back to even at 9-9. As for Wethersfield, their loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-7.
