Game recap: Chiles pulls off surprise win over Forest

Chiles (Tallahassee, Fla.) upset Forest (Ocala, Fla.) 28-10 on Saturday. Forest (Ocala, Fla.) came into the week ranked No. 197 in Florida.

After taking the lead on a Ben Hatch touchdown pass to Mike Dunn in the second quarter, the Timberwolves led 9-3 at the half.

Chiles saw its 6-point halftime lead fall to five entering the fourth.

Hatch stood out for CHS in the win. The senior quarterback threw one touchdown and ran for two touchdowns. He has now scored eight touchdowns on the season.

The Wildcats' lone touchdown came on a 3-yard run in the third quarter.



The Tallahassee school had struggled this season, allowing 35.2 points per game.

The victory is a complete turnaround from last season's game between these two teams, which Forest took, 42-14.

Chiles (3-3) will play a non-conference game against Godby next week, while Forest (3-3) will take on East Ridge also in a non-conference game.
