The East Grand Rapids Pioneers will face off against the Mt. Pleasant Oilers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with East Grand Rapids sitting on seven straight victories and Mt. Pleasant on 11.

East Grand Rapids is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They strolled past Coopersville with points to spare, taking the game 17-0.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to East Grand Rapids' defense and their five sacks. Zachary Caswell was especially locked on to Coopersville's QB and sacked him four times.

Meanwhile, Mt. Pleasant never let their opponents score on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Gaylord 42-0. Considering the Oilers have won seven games by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Mt. Pleasant's win bumped their record up to 11-0. As for East Grand Rapids, their victory bumped their record up to 9-2.
