Amelia Wilson leads Affton to victory over Bayless

Recap: Affton Cougars vs. Bayless Bronchos
The Affton Cougars had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Bayless by a score of 46-35 on Tuesday. The victory was just what Affton needed coming off of a 69-14 loss in their prior contest.
Amelia Wilson was her usual excellent self, scoring 22 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Anna M daughtry, who scored eight points along with six steals.
Affton's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Bayless, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Affton will take on Windsor at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Windsor is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Bayless, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Valley Park at 5:30 p.m. on January 26th.
