Baseball Recap: Stevenson Takes a Loss

Stevenson lost against Franklin last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Spartans came up short against the Patriots, falling 8-1. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Stevenson saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ben Machowicz, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Stevenson now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Franklin, the win keeps they at an undefeated 9-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stevenson will venture away from home to square off against Walled Lake Western at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Spartans surely won't give up without a fight. As for Franklin, they will head out on the road to challenge South Lyon East at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
