After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Minisink Valley, Newburgh Free Academy was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Middletown Middie Bears, posting a 35-0 victory. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Goldbacks considering their 13-point performance the game before.

The win got Newburgh Free Academy back to even at 2-2. As for Middletown, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
