Softball Recap: James Kenan Comes Up Short

James Kenan lost against South Lenoir last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Tigers might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 12-2 to the Blue Devils, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

James Kenan's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for South Lenoir, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. James Kenan will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on North Lenoir at 6:00 p.m. on the 29th. As for South Lenoir, they will head out to square off against West Johnston at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Wildcats will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
