Football Recap: Greensburg Pirates vs. Rushville Lions
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against East Central, Greensburg was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Rushville Lions 36-16. The high-scoring effort was just what the Pirates needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.
Greensburg found their leader in sophomore Levi Muckerheide, who rushed for 111 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries, and also threw for 152 yards and one TD while completing 85.7% of his passes. Those 111 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Muckerheide. 87 of Muckerheide's passing yards were hauled in by Carson Kilgore.

Greensburg was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 233 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.
