Riverdale waltzed into their match on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Southwestern Wildcats with a sharp 11-1 victory. Ethan Kagel made a splash while hitting and pitching. He struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits (and only one walk). Riverdale is 2-1 when Kagel allows one or fewer earned runs, but 5-6 otherwise. Kagel was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
