Soccer Recap: Carlisle Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Carlisle was riding high fresh off their 12-3 takedown of Trotwood-Madison on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Indians came up short against the Waynesville Spartans on Thursday, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, Carlisle can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 397th, while Waynesville are ranked 156th).

Carlisle's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8-1. As for Waynesville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-6.

Looking ahead, Carlisle will be playing in front of their home fans against Franklin at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Waynesville, they will head out on the road to square off against Wyoming at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
