Des Lacs-Burlington came tearing into Friday's matchup with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24 points), and they left with even more momentum. They took down the Dunseith Dragons 64-47. The Lakers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Dragons, too.

Des Lacs-Burlington pushed their record up to 11-10 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.5 points over those games. As for Dunseith, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Des Lacs-Burlington will host Bottineau at 7:15 p.m. on February 28th. Bottineau knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Des Lacs-Burlington likes a good challenge. As for Dunseith, they will be playing at home against Four Winds/Minnewaukan at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
