Basketball Recap: Trinity Presbyterian Comes Up Short

Trinity Presbyterian has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 48-38 to the Booker T. Washington Golden Eagles on Tuesday. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 59-33 last Thursday.

It was another big night for Marquez Daniel, who went 9 for 12 on his way to 20 points along with eight rebounds and four blocks for Booker T. Washington. That makes it three consecutive games in which Daniel has scored at least a third of Booker T. Washington's points. Raymond Minor was another key player, putting up seven points in addition to eight boards and three steals.

Trinity Presbyterian's loss dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Booker T. Washington, they pushed their record up to 19-3 with the win, which was their 11th straight on the road.

Trinity Presbyterian has already played their next match, a 58-47 victory against LAMP on the 16th. As for Booker T. Washington, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 71-45 defeat against Central on the 16th.
