Preview: Shoals Jug Rox vs. Northeast Dubois Jeeps
Shoals is 0-9 against Northeast Dubois since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Shoals Jug Rox will be home for the holidays to greet the Northeast Dubois Jeeps at 6:30 p.m. Shoals will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings (they are ranked 339th, while Northeast Dubois is ranked 136th).
Shoals' six-game losing streak came to an end on Tuesday. They came out on top against Mitchell by a score of 40-29. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Shoals has managed all season.
Meanwhile, Northeast Dubois lost to Jasper at home by a decisive 40-23 margin on Thursday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Northeast Dubois has scored all season.
Despite the defeat, Northeast Dubois got a solid performance out of Lyllee Schnell, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.
Shoals' win bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Northeast Dubois, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
Shoals took a serious blow against Northeast Dubois in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, falling 61-34. Thankfully for Shoals, Rhylan Kalb (who scored 26 points along with five rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
