Baseball Game Preview: Foss Falcons vs. Eatonville Cruisers

Foss hasn't had much luck against Eatonville recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Falcons will head out to face off against the Cruisers at 4:00 p.m. Foss has given up an average of 18.8 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Foss is headed into Monday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 25th straight game dating back to last season on Wednesday. They came up short against Steilacoom, falling 17-0.

Meanwhile, Eatonville came up short against Franklin Pierce on Wednesday and fell 8-5. The Cruisers haven't had much luck with the Cardinals recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Santiago Ruvalcaba made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double. Michael Laird also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Eatonville's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Foss, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.

Foss might still be hurting after the 14-0 loss they got from Eatonville when the teams last played back in March. Can the Falcons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
