Columbia's game two weeks ago was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They secured a 53-48 W over the East Side Red Raiders. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Cougars as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Columbia's victory bumped their record up to 4-8. As for East Side, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.

Columbia has already played their next contest (against Colonia), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. East Side will face off against Scotch Plains-Fanwood at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Scotch Plains-Fanwood knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully East Side likes a good challenge.
