Preview: Kingman Bulldogs vs. Parker Broncs
The Kingman Bulldogs's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Parker Broncs at 5:30 p.m. on January 17th. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
Kingman suffered their biggest defeat yet this season last Tuesday. They had to suffer through a rough 65-22 loss at the hands of Yuma Catholic. Kingman was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-7.
Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Parker's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They suffered a rough 64-38 loss at the hands of Needles. While losing is never fun, Parker can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 88th in Arizona, while Needles is ranked 13th in California).
Kingman has not been sharp recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season. As for Parker, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-6.
Kingman came up short against Parker in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, falling 51-43. Can Kingman avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
