Harrisonville waltzed into their game on Friday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 68-62 W against the Oak Grove Panthers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wildcats also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Keenan Brady, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. Those 19 points gave Brady a new career-high. Jaxon Weber was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 14 points and nine boards.

Harrisonville pushed their record up to 16-4 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.4 points over those games. As for Oak Grove, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-12.

Coming up, Harrisonville will head out on the road to face off against Richmond at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Harrisonville knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight contests -- so hopefully Richmond likes a good challenge. As for Oak Grove, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Panthers challenge the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
