They pulled ahead with a 61-60 photo finish over the Knights. The win was a breath of fresh air for King's Academy as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

King's Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Everett Hollis, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. Hollis hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Travis Haft, who scored 16 points along with eight assists and five steals.

Valor Preparatory Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bear Griesemer, who scored 24 points along with five assists and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Griesemer has scored all season. King's Academy will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Corpus Christi United at 12:35 p.m. on February 16th.
