Basketball Recap: Twin Loup Starts Season with Victory Against South Loup

Twin Loup had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat South Loup 50-23. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Wolves had established a 22 point advantage.

Twin Loup's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Madison Glidden led the charge by putting up 16 points along with five assists and five boards. What's more, Glidden also racked up four steals, the most she's had since back in December of 2023. Gracey Rodocker was another key player, posting eight points and seven rebounds.

Twin Loup wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 53-32 loss against Sandhills/Thedford on the 7th. As for South Loup, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 57-15 defeat against Amherst on the 7th.
