Soccer Recap: Redlands Comes Up Short

Redlands was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Arroyo Valley Hawks an easy 7-2 victory. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Terriers of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2019.

Desean Banks and Nathan Bora scored both of Redlands' goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Redlands' loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Arroyo Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3-1 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Redlands will take on Redlands East Valley in a holiday battle at at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Arroyo Valley and Pacific will compete for holiday cheer at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.
