Baseball Game Preview: Bullock Creek Lancers vs. Cass City Red Hawks

The Bullock Creek Lancers will venture away from home to face off against the Cass City Red Hawks at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

Bullock Creek barely beat Harrison the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Lancers' pitchers stepped up to hand the Hornets a 9-0 shutout on Thursday. The victory was familiar territory for the Lancers, who have now won four matchups in a row.

Meanwhile, Cass City got the win against Unionville-Sebewaing on Thursday by a conclusive 10-0. The Red Hawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by ten runs or more this season.

Dylan Severance was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs. Ryker Wallace also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Cass City was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .552. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Bullock Creek's record is now 4-1. As for Cass City, their record now sits at 7-3.
