Wayne has gone a perfect 6-0 against Tug Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. Wayne will look to defend their home field against Tug Valley at 6:00 p.m. Wayne is looking for their season's first victory.

Wayne is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They fell 10-6 to Hoover on Thursday.

Fisher Fry made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2024. Jacob Thompson also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Meanwhile, Tug Valley came up short against Man on Wednesday and fell 6-1. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gage Whitt spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and four unearned) runs on six hits and racked up nine Ks. That's the fewest earned runs he has allowed since back in April of 2024.

At the plate, Tug Valley saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Austin Smith, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Tug Valley now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Wayne, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Wayne took their win against Tug Valley when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 10-0. Will Wayne repeat their success, or does Tug Valley has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
