Baseball Recap: Robinson Wins Going Away Against Cambridge Christian

Robinson picked up another tournament win on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 9-1 margin over the Cambridge Christian Lancers. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won five matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Brady Hardin looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Robinson got a massive performance out of Collin Rosenberg, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Rosenberg has become a key player for Robinson: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 4-6 otherwise. Cason Cooper was another key player, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.

Robinson always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .529. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cambridge Christian only posted an OBP of .355.

The victory made it two in a row for Robinson and bumps their season record up to 8-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Cambridge Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season.

Robinson will be playing at home against Leto at 7:00 p.m. on March 25th. As for Cambridge Christian, they will head out to face off against Carrollwood Day at 7:00 p.m. on March 25th.
