Basketball Recap: Vandegrift Piles Up the Points Against Manor

Vandegrift won the last time they faced Manor and things went their way on Friday too. The Vandegrift Vipers took their matchup with ease, bagging a 67-33 victory over the Manor Mustangs. Given the Vipers' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 175th, while the Mustangs are ranked 1012th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Vandegrift is also on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 18 games, which provided a nice bump to their 22-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points per game. As for Manor, they dropped their record down to 1-25 with the loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.
