West came tearing into Thursday's match with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.9 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the South Titans 16-1. The result was nothing new for the Pioneers, who have now won six contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

West pushed their record up to 12-5 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.2 runs over those games. As for South, they are on a 22-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West will square off against Emporia on Monday. As for South, they will face off against Southeast on Tuesday. The Titans are facing the Golden Buffalo at the right time seeing as the Golden Buffalo are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
