Volleyball Recap: Saline's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Saline came tearing into Saturday's game with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Walled Lake Northern Knights.

Saline easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-8.

Saline was led to victory by Quinn Burns and Noah Gregory. Burns had six aces and three digs, while Gregory had five aces and two assists. Burns has been hot for a while, having also posted 12 or more assists the last ten times he's played.

They weren't the only good server: Saline was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in May of 2024.

Saline's victory bumped their record up to 4-0.

Saline wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Adams on the 5th. As for Walled Lake Northern, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Walled Lake Central at 6:00 p.m. on the 30th.
